Some Dogs Do by Jez Alborough

This is a fantastic bedtime story and is definitely one of our family favourites.

It is about a dog called Sid who, on his way to school one day, finds that he can fly. Of course no one at school believes him and he becomes very sad until his Dad lets him in on a very special secret…

The illustrations are bright and lovely to look at, Sid is a very cute puppy! The text has a great rhythm to it with rhyming sentences and is really easy to read aloud. It is also memorable enough for children to quickly pick up so they can join in.

We have been reading this book to Pippa and Henry for a few years now and it never fails to leave a smile on our faces when we have finished.

We thoroughly recommend it!
